Live Arrival Guarantee
Fisher Reptiles guarantees our animals to arrive alive, healthy, and properly sexed. Live arrival can only be guaranteed when temperatures upon arrival are between 35-90 degrees Fahrenheit. It is expected that the keeper has the proper knowledge and a proper habitat provided for the animal purchased and understands the long-term commitment of that animal. We do not guarantee animals that are not signed for on the first delivery attempt. Fisher Reptiles is not liable for the animal after it enters the care of the new keeper. If there are any issues upon arrival, Fisher Reptiles must be contacted within 2 hours to be able to address the problem. In the unfortunate event that an animal is dead on arrival, we require pictures of the animal, the box, and a video of the animal to confirm that the animal is deceased.
We are currently having ALL live animal shipments held at the nearest FedEx hub to the destination. This ensures the safest outcome for the animal. You will need to bring a photo ID when you pick up the animal.
All live animals are shipped via FedEx Priority Overnight after agreeing on a ship date with the customer. Our available shipping days are Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. We do not ship on weekends. We ship safely year-round, if weather permits. Fisher Reptiles will decide if the weather is safe to ship. We take pride in our professional packaging to ensure the safe arrival of your animal. All animals are shipped in an insulated box with the appropriate heat or cool packs if needed. We will provide a tracking number as soon as your package is shipped so that you can monitor your shipment during it’s travel. Please check your email that you provided us for this information.
We do our best to research the legalities of owning specific animals in other states, but it is ultimately your responsibility to know your local laws. Fisher Reptiles is not liable for anything that happens once the animal leaves our possession.
If you place an order with us and later decide to cancel that order before the animal is shipped, Fisher Reptiles will keep 20% of the cost of the animal as a restocking fee and the animal will be placed back up for sale. The remaining balance will be sent to the customer within 5 business days.
Payment Plans & Deposits
We offer a 30-day payment plan on purchases over $500, not to exceed $2,500. For purchases over $2,500, we offer a 60-day payment plan. All payment plans require at least a 20% non-refundable deposit. If you fail to complete the payment within the allowed time, the animal will be placed back up for sale and the deposit as well as any payments made up until that point will be considered non-refundable.
We often have customers that want to claim an animal that has just been born and has not yet had its first meals. In order to reserve an animal that is not ready to be shipped yet, a 20% deposit is required. This deposit is not refundable, unless the animal fails to thrive and is not able to be sold. The remaining balance is due when the animal is ready to be shipped.
